Our school students participated in The 2nd Hong Kong Secondary School Cosmetic Formulation Competition, organized by the City University of Hong Kong (Department of Chemistry & Office of the Provost), Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemists (HKSCC), and the Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong Ltd. (CPAHK). S.5 chemistry students were required to design a cosmetic formulation on one of the following cosmetic products (1) lip care product, (2) face cream or lotion, (3) face cleanser. They need to produce it based on a set of complimentary cosmetic ingredients provided. Before they submitted the final products for the competition, each team launched this “experiencing cosmetics” activities to let all the students in our school to experience their products. Hope all the students enjoy it and good luck to those chemistry students who participated in the competition.
