Inside a comfy cinema at B+ APM.
Our S2 to S5 crew after watching Emergency Declaration.

Spaghetti Bridge (Fun with NETs)

Using uncooked and "made in Italy" spaghetti, each student used nothing but hot glue and rubber bands to build bridges which can withstand weights of 500 grams added on with each round.

Despite Phoebe's overwhelming number of injuries, she pulled through with her bridge being able to withstand an impossible 5KG dead weight and took home the first price. Hooray!!!
With high level of concentration and a nervous smile, Lucy was under an enormous pressure. Yet, she pulled through and took home the fourth place. Yippee!
A famous person once said, “All good things must come to an end”. Racheal demonstrated this by testing her bridge at 2.5KG before giving way. She came third, ahead of Lucy because of lesser weight.
“Simplicity at its best”. Samuel took an hour to figure what he wanted to build and it took him 20 minutes to complete it. He came fifth at a respectable 2KG.
With the look of determination and no sight of hesitation, Grace's bridge came second with an awesome hold of 3KG before snapping.
Zoe’s bridge was probably the most imaginative one and we can all see the artist in her. Not to mention that her design was by far the lightest one. She came 7th at a show stopping 1KG.
The tension was at an all time high when Mr. Tommy and Mr. Kevin displayed their work. With our combined IQ score of Einstein, can you guess what place they came in?

Garden Life (Fun with NETs)

Victor: “I’ve never been so happy gathering dead leaves”
Prince: "I like Jason's pose. He looks like a big flying bird”
Tiffany says “ I hope they will grow up to be healthy plants!”
Tiffany: "We engineered this when we realized the soil was already dried out in its second day, so we designed this irrigation system using plastic bags."
Zoe: “Here, we are putting the soil into the shelf. It was hard work but was fun! Applause, for our hard work!”
Charles: “It was so heavy but I had so much fun with everyone”
Lucy: “ This is what I call teamwork!
Grace: “Successfully putting the plants in their rightful place! And taking pictures in such hot weather is a big deal.
Marco is playing chess with Mr. Kevin while others are concentrating on finishing the puzzle.
The anticipation to plant the seeds Mr. Kevin is showcasing is too overwhelming.

Sugar Rush (Fun with NETs)

Here, Mr. Tommy is skillfully slicing butter with his sharp knife. Don’t do this at home kids, unless your parents are with you.
Students are learning how to make Granola bars, but some weren’t too impressed with the ingredients used. "Why Peanut butter? I prefer chocolate!"
Forget the Rocky Road! Give me a block of chocolate instead!
Bravo to these one-handed masters! It takes a certain set of skills to master this technique.
Mixing melted chocolates requires high level of concentration. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Gloves on – Check! Smiles- Check! Peace sign- Check! Let’s get started!!!
