www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories - is a website where you can read short stories. You can print them out and they cover a wide range of topics. Some of the stories can be listened to and some have activities for you to do to check your comprehension skills.

www.channel4learning.net/sites/waywithwords/ - this is a fun and funky website which has a girls and boys section. You can launch into each section by clicking on the rocket. The website has examples of poetry, fiction, drama and non-fiction. You can read, listen and play interactive games to test your learning.

NON- FICTION
There are lots of newspapers and magazines, which you can read on line. You can also read the Young Post www.yp.scmp.com to practice your non-fiction reading skills.

member.englishstreet.com - this is a website which uses Chinese and English. It is based in Hong Kong and so is easy for you to relate to. You can sign up to receive the English Street magazine.

www.free-books.net/general-non-fiction - this website has many books of different genres. There's will be something for everyone.

www.world-newspapers.com/youth.html - this is a good website that has many links to teenage magazines from around the world. This website contains magazines to suit everyone's taste and interests.
